This video covers the Variable Table features of the DesignMerge Pro Pack module, including the ability to remove empty or flagged InDesign table rows during a merge session. The Variable Table feature can be useful for jobs that contain multiple associated entries, such as invoices, statements, lists, etc. This video also covers the use of the Pro Pack module Frame Action feature, which can be used to omit pages from printing when variable content does not extend to subsequent pages.
The first part of the video shows how to set up an InDesign table to eliminate empty or flagged table rows automatically during the VDP merge session. The second part of the video discusses the Pro Pack Data Converter feature, which is required for jobs that contain multiple, associated rows of data.
