    This document covers GroupPicture Module, which is an add-on module for DesignMerge Pro and Catalog. GroupPicture can be used to archive and import complete groups of native InDesign elements. Each element can also include variable data items that will be personalized when the group is placed into the document.

  • CopyFit Module

    This document covers CopyFit Module, which is a standard module for both DesignMerge Pro and Catalog. CopyFit can be used to address overset text conditions, which are very common in variable data printing applications. The software is used to tighten text that is too large to fit within the defined frame area, but can also be used to exapnd text to completely fill a defined frame, such as for a variable headline.

    This document covers Rules Module, which is a standard module for both DesignMerge Pro and Catalog. Rules are a very part DesignMerge feature that provides if/then/else conditional processing features. Use Rules to adjust and style text, set the color of frames and other objects, or even to completely swap out page and layer content during a variable data session.

  • 2D Bar Code Module

    This document This document describes the use of the 2D Bar Code Module for DesignMerge software to create variable 2D bar codes. The 2D Bar Code Module, an add-on component of the DesignMerge Pro and DesignMerge Catalog software packages, allows for the placement of fully variable 2D bar codes in an Adobe InDesign document. The module currently supports the creation of QR Code, Data Matrix, and PDF417 bar codes. Special instructions are also provided for GS1 Data Matrix codes.
