All Meadows software products are generally provided under maintenance licensing. When a client renews the maintenance for a Meadows product, this provides for continuation of the software license with free technical support and free software upgrades. All technical support services are provided according to the terms of the Meadows Product Support Plan (PSP). The details of the Product Support Plan are available at https://meadowsps.com/product-support-plan.
The details of our general privacy policy can be located on our Privacy page, available at https://www.meadowsps.com/privacy.
The details of the Meadows End User License Agreement, which is applicable to all Meadows software products, can be located on our EULA page, available at https://www.meadowsps.com/license.
All Meadows software licenses are registered and maintained on our secure web server. When an order for a Meadows software product is placed, we store basic customer information in the registration system, including the Company Name, User Name, and User Email Address. This information is used to verify license information and to contact the end user when software updates are available.
In order to activate any Meadows software product, an internet connection is required. Activation consists of secure communication between the Meadows software product and our secure online registration system. At the time a Meadows software product is activated, we store some additional information related to the installation, including the version of Adobe InDesign, the operating system, and other information about the computer where the software was activated. This information is used to monitor the licensing as stated above, and to allow the software to be deactivated and moved to a different computer system, if desired by the end user.
Once activated, Meadows software may access our secure registration system from time to time to ensure that the software license remains valid. We maintain only enough information in our system as required to manage the software licensing, and to provide information when software updates are available.
All information that we maintain in our registration system is never shared with any outside company, and fully conforms to our general privacy policy. Please see above for more information on our general privacy policy.
All Meadows Publishing Solutions software products are provided as standard, commercial, shrink-wrapped software licenses. The software products that Meadows produces are typically plug-in software modules for Adobe InDesign or Acrobat and other extensible products. Licenses for Meadows software products are sold directly through Meadows, and are also sold through a number of resellers and other distribution channels.
Meadows is the sole developer of all software products that it sells, including all DesignMerge software products, and fully owns all intellectual property rights. The terms of the license for all Meadows products are set forth in the Meadows end-user license agreement (EULA) available online at https://www.meadowsps.com/license.
Meadows works with hundreds of companies each year to provide fast and effective software solutions. Due to the volume of software sold by Meadows, and because of the standard, commercial nature of our software products, our policy is that we do not engage in non-disclosure agreements, supplemental license, or similar agreements related to the standard purchase and use of our software products.
In certain cases, where integration or custom development of a Meadows product is required, Meadows may consider a non-disclosure agreement, provided that the confidential information being disclosed by both parties is identified explicitly within the agreement. For more information about the Meadows NDA policy, please contact John Kriho at (847) 882-8202, or via email at jkriho@meadowsps.com.
